Water Sources

The main sources of water for KIMAWASCO are two springs:

Umani Spring, serving Kibwezi, Mtito Andei, and their environs, with a production capacity of ~2,061 cubic meters (m³) per day. This system uses pumping and gravity for supply.
Kwa Venge Spring, serving the Makindu area and its environs, with a production capacity of ~1,706 cubic meters (m³) per day. This system uses 100% pumping.
